Material examined. INFUECO stations: BC6 0710, 1 specimen, 380 m depth.

Habitat. Interstitial species, world records are scarce; inhabiting rhizomes of Posidonia oceanica and algal remains with retained sand ( Alós 1988), amphioxus sands and maërl beds ( Campoy 1982).The maximum depth of collection in the Canary Islands at 380 m.

Distribution. Amphi-Atlantic, being the Canary Islands its southernmost limit in the Eastern Atlantic (Banquete Bank, off Fuerteventura). The species is recorded for the first time for the Canary Islands.
