Distribution. Dasyhelea modesta is widespread in the Palaearctic ( Dominiak & Szadziewski 2010). Up to now, in the Middle East it was known from Egypt ( Macfie 1943), Yemen ( Boorman & van Harten 2002) and Iran ( Szadziewski 1986). New for Israel and Lebanon.
