Holotype: ♂. MEXICO : Jalisco, Guadalajara. Colección E. Dugès; 2994. Conservation status: Incomplete; genitalia glued on a triangle. Additional notes: The current name of this species is Epicauta (Epicauta) jimenezi Dugès, 1889 (see García- Paris, Buckley & Parra-Olea, 2007).
