FEMALE (Specimens measured – Ghana: 2).
Dorsum Dorsal shield with few lateral striae anterior to Z1, 334(323346) long, 219(216222) wide, j1 30(2930), j3 35, j4 17(1618), j5 16(1418), j6 32, J2 34, J5 5, z2 32, z4 40, z5 17(1618), Z1 29, Z4 36(3438), Z5 57(5162), s4 58(5659), S2 37(3538), S4 27(2629), S5 31(2934), r3 20(1921), R1 15(1416). Dorsal setae smooth, except Z5 which are serrate.
Peritreme Reaching level between z2 and z4.
Venter All ventral shields smooth. Distances between ST1ST3 58, ST2ST2 66(64 67) and ST5ST5 70. With 1 pair of metapodal shields. Ventrianal shield 97(9698) long, 55(5358) wide at ZV2 level and 66(6667) wide at anus level.
Spermatheca Calyx tubular, 32 long; atrium small.
Legs Macrosetae sharptipped: SgeII 24, SgeIII 29, StiIII 26(2429), SgeIV 48(46 50), StiIV 37(3440), StIV 69(6770).
REMARKS: The measurements of the specimens collected are close to those for specimens from Cape Verde, and generally shorter than those of a paratype from Algeria (Ueckermann 1992).
