Entedononecremnus Girault, 1915: 278 . Type species: Entedononecremnus unicus Girault (1915) , by original designation.
Diagnosis
Flagellum in both sexes with two funicular and three claval segments (figures 112–118); mid lobe of mesoscutum with many scattered setae, or with one to five pairs; scutellum with many scattered setae, or with three to seven pairs; prepectus triangular, reticulate with dorsal margin smooth and shiny (figure 30); submarginal vein with three to five setae (usually three, one species with four to five setae); first gastral tergite usually smooth and polished in contrast to distinctly reticulate remaining tergites (figure 33) (first tergite reticulate in two species) and with a sharp carina (the basal carina) encircling area close to base of petiole (figures 33, 132–136); female hypopygium short, 0.4× as long as length of gaster (figure 34); outer plates of ovipositor enlarged and flattened (figure 34).
Distribution
Mainly Neotropical region, some species also occur in the southern Nearctic region.
Hosts
Aleurodicus cocois on guava ( Psidium guajava - Myrtaceae ); A. dugesii on Hibiscus syriacus (Malvaceae) (Zolnerowich and Rose, 1996); Ceraleurodicus altissimus on Cassia (Caesalpiniacae) and Inga spuria (Mimosaceae) ; unidentified Aleyrodidae on
Spondias sp. (Anacardiaceae) , sugar apple ( Annona squamosa - Annonaceae ) and Baccharis trinervis (Asteraceae) . All hosts belong to Aleyrodidae (Hemiptera) .
