Material examined. MOZAMBIQUE: Tete: IV.1947, leg. C.F. Roewer, 1♀ ( SMF 9929 About SMF ) .

Description. The female was redescribed by Logunov & Azarkina (2006), but the male remains unknown. General appearance and epigyne as in Fig. 30C–E View FIGURE 30 .

Distribution. Previously known from D.R. Congo, this is the first record from Mozambique.

Remark. This species can be distinguished from congeners by the epigyne structure, with the median hood split medially to form two pockets ( Fig. 30D, E View FIGURE 30 ) as opposed to the single pocket seen in congeners, when present.
