These two species share the following character states and are therefore grouped together as the umbella group: Arrangement of spines on aedeagus, i.e., aedeagus with three spines, a long spine left lateral, a long, sshaped spine ventral, and a shorter spine right lateral, all spines curved as in Figs 43M, Q; genital styles apically rounded; forewing with fork of Pcu+A1 distinctly basad of centre of clavus; 9 apical cells; costa without tubercles.
