Diagnosis: Elytral declivity with entire raised margin, without a series of distinct spines or teeth, prolonged forwards so that its face is longer than wide; interstriae 2 raised in middle of declivity with 3‒4 tubercles on raised section. Declivital vestiture of fine, semi-appressed hairs, longer on interstriae 2. Eyes with upper and lower parts equal in size. Anterior margin of pronotum with median teeth fused forming a carina. Very large species, 8.5‒9.0 mm long.
Distribution: Indonesia (West Papua), Papua New Guinea.
New record: Indonesia, W. Papua, 130 km SE Kaimana, Omba (=Yamor) river, 10‒20 km from coast, S04 o 05’49’’, E134 o 54’09’’, 10‒20 m, 09‒11.ii.2011, leg. A. Weigel (RAB, 1).
Biology: Recorded only from Celtis sp. ( Cannabaceae ) ( Hulcr & Cognato 2013).
