Remarks: Unfortunately, the type of Bostra saussurei is lost. A re-description of the ♀ and description of the previously unknown ♂ are provided below. The designation of a lectotype will become necessary once wild caught specimens become available. The two specimens at hand from the first author’s collection are F1–generation captive reared.

Distribution: S-Mexico, Oaxaca, near Puerto Escondido [FH].
