Anisops sardeus sardeus Herrich-Schaeffer, 1849 View in CoL
Anisops sardeus sardeus: Berchi (2011) .
Material examined. Romania: Bihor county: Damiş [cattle trough], 46°52'13''N 22°32'32''E, 676 m a.s.l., 05.ix.2012, 933 2ƤƤ, D. Copilaş-Ciocianu leg.
Notes. Newly recorded by Berchi (2011) from north-eastern Romania (Neamţ county). This second record confirms the occurrence of this species, and its trend of northward spreading ( Khatukhov et al. 2008; Soós et al. 2010; Berchi 2011; Petri et al. 2012). Furthermore, the author expects that several other records to appear.
Distribution. Widely distributed in Eastern Hemisphere, including tropical and subtropical Africa, southern Europe, Transcaucazia, Iran, Iraq, Turkmenistan, as well as from Arabian peninsula to India and Burma ( Polhemus 1995; Protiċ 1998, 2011; Katbeh et al. 2000; Linnavuori & Hosseini 2000; Khatukhov et al. 2008; Soós et al. 2010; Berchi 2011; Fent et al. 2011; Kment & Beran 2011; Linnavouri et al. 2011; Cianferoni & Pinna 2012; Petri et al. 2012). For Romanian distribution see Fig. 15 View FIGURE 15 .
