TYPE MATERIAL. — Holotype: French Guiana. Gare tigre, 26.VIII.1975, Mission M. Boulard et P. Pompanon réc., 1 ♂ ( MNHN ( EH)6402).

Allotype: French Guiana. Roura , 3.III.1981, G.Tavakilian réc., 1 ♀ ( MNHN ( EH)6468).

MATERIAL EXAMINED. — “ FRENCH GUIANA: / Amazone Nature Lodge / 30 km SE Roura on / Kaw Rd. 5-19-II-2010, J. E. Eger, coll., 300 m // N04°33.570’ / W052°12.433’ / 300 m UV Light Trap”, 1 ♂ ( FSCA).

DISTRIBUTION. — The species is known only from French Guiana ( Boulard 1986a).
