The new record below documents a new locality, and the first collection from Sonora, Mexico. The species is rather widely distributed, found in western North America from the U.S.A. —Canadian border to central Mexico; the easternmost known locality in the U.S.A. is in central Wyoming.

New record: Mexico: Sonora, Imuris , 13.vii.1963, leg. P. J. Spangler (5 NMNH) .
