The new record below documents a new collection record and a new depository for identified specimens of this very rarely collected species, which is presently known only from Marin County, California and Portland, Oregon. Only four specimens of this species are in museum collections .
New record: U.S.A.: California, Marin Co., Mt. Tamalpais St. Pk. , Redwood Creek , along Muir Woods Rd. , 2 mi. S. Muir Woods N.M., 27.iii.1986, leg. C. B. Barr (1 female MCZ) .
