The new record below documents a new locality and a first record for the state of Veracruz, Mexico for this rarely collected species. The species is presently known from Chiapas and Veracruz, represented by only 11 identified specimens in museum collections.

New record: Mexico: Veracruz, Los Tuxtlas area nr. Balzapote , 15.v.1981, leg. P. J. Spangler (2 NMNH) .
