Specimens examined:— BRAZIL. Amazonas , Manaus, RDS-Tupé, 25 October 2012, fl., A. L. Corrêa 81 ( EAFM!, HUAM!, INPA!) ; 25 October 2012, fl., fr., A. L. Corrêa 85 ( EAFM!, HUAM!, INPA!) ; 07 December 2012, fr., A. L. Corrêa 129 ( EAFM!, HUAM!, INPA!) .
Distribution and habitat:— This species is endemic to Brazil ( Goldenberg et al. 2013), in Amazonian forests ( Goldenberg & Caddah 2015). In the reserve, it occurs on “terra firme” slopes, on sandy soil with low organic matter. Comments:— This species is frequent in the reserve. It has dark gray, slightly scaly rhytidome and leaves with very small reticulation.
