Type species: Pomerantzia charlesi Baker, 1949 ; by original designation.
Diagnosis
Each peritreme with 3–5 chambers ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 A); c2 posterior to c1; ventrolateral shields apart from coxae III ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 A); genital valves with 5 pairs of setae; coxa I with 1 peglike sensilla (elcp); genu IV with 5 setae ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 ); tarsi II with 2 solenidia. Two species were previously known worldwide. A new species is added here.
