Diagnosis
Adult female. Each peritreme with 7–8 chambers; striae between shields F and H broad; aggenital and genital valves each with 3 pairs of setae; tarsi I–III with 19 + 5 + 1, 13 + 3, 11.
Distribution and habitat
UNITED STATES. California: from forest ( Price 1971); from agricultural soil ( Price 1974); from ponderosa pine forest soil at depth of 3.8–87.6 cm ( Price & Benham 1976).
