Description. Adult ( Fig. 4 View FIGURES 1 – 4 ): Wingspan 13.0–19.0 mm. Male was described by Park (1990) and Schouten (1997).

Female genitalia ( Fig. 11 View FIGURES 9 – 11 ). Anal papilla ovate, rounded caudally, about half length of apophyses posteriores. Tergite VIII nearly as long as apophyses anteriores. Apophyses anteriores as long as apophyses posteriores. Antrum broad funnel-shaped. Ductus bursae with large and rounded, sclerotized protuberance medially, covered with dense small spines posteriorly, with sparse tiny spines anteriorly. Ductus seminalis closer to protuberance than to corpus bursae. Corpus bursae not conspicuously divided from ductus bursae, broadened anteriorly; signum absent.

Distribution. China (Zhejiang, Hubei, Guizhou and Gansu); Korea.

Remarks. The female of this species is described for the first time. Its genitalia resemble those of Metaeuchromius inflatus Schouten , but differ in the funneled antrum, the sclerotized protuberance of ductus bursae with spines, and the thick ductus seminalis; in M. inflatus Park , the antrum is straight tubular, the sclerotized protuberance of ductus bursae lacks spines, and the ductus seminalis is much thinner.
