Cynipidae in the genera Ceroptres , Saphonecrus and Synergus that have been found as inquilines in galls induced by oak gall wasps, are listed in alphabetic order with important synonyms and host gall former species and generations. Synophrus , an inquiline which controls development of its host gall, that of Andricus burgundus , is treated in the main catalogue with the gall formers.
