Diagnosis. Thorax shiny, dark brown with bluish reflex; mesopleuron subshining brown with median longitudinal pale brown to yellow stripe; hind femur yellow near base and darkened apically; hind tibia slightly clavate, pale brown near base and darkened apically; wing smoothly brownish with golden iridescence.
Etymology. From the Latin “ uncus ” (hook, angle), in reference to the hook-shaped left surstylus in lateral view.
Description. Holotype male. Body: 2.5 mm. Wing: 2.2 mm. Head: antenna brown located slightly above middle of head; hololoptic, frons elongate, about two-thirds length of face; scape as long as pedicel; postpedicel conical, 3 times longer than wide, 1.5 times length of scape and pedicel combined; stylus apical, bare, 1.7 times length of antenna. Ocellar triangle not protuberant; 1 ocellar pair of elongate setae, proclinate about 45º. Proboscis yellow; palpus brown bearing 1 long median dorsal and 1 shorter lateral bristle. Postcranium black with brown pruinescence; postocular setae elongate, thin and scattered. Thorax: scutum shiny with bluish reflex, with pruinescence only on prescutellar disc; dark brown with postpronotal lobe and notopleuron pale brown; mesopleuron subshining brown with median longitudinal pale brown to yellow stripe. Bristles short and thin; acr and dc uniserial. Differentiated bristles: 1 elongated npl; posterior dc discreetly longer than anterior dc; 1 short pal; 1 apical pair of sctl long and thin and 1 thin lateral bristle about half length of apical pair. Wing (Fig. 123): smoothly brownish with golden iridescence; R1 meeting C before middle of wing; cell dm emitting 2 veins; cell cu p present. Legs: coxae and trochanters yellow, fore coxa with brown base, femora, fore and mid tibiae pale brown, hind femur yellow near base and darkening towards apex, hind tibia pale brown near base and darkened at apex; tarsi brown. Hind tibia slightly clavate. Differentiated bristles: fore tibia with some V; mid tibia with 1A at middle; hind tibia with 1D at middle and some V elongate and thin; mid femur with 1A subapical; hind femur with 1A subapical and 1V on distal third. Abdomen: tergites brown; sternites pale brown clearing gradually toward apex of abdomen; whitish pruinescence only on lateral margins of tergites 7 and 8. Bristles brown, short, thin and scattered. Terminalia: hypandrium slightly longer than wide, broadened near base and apex concave ( Fig. 93 View FIGURES 93 – 100 ); epandrium not deeply cleft dorsally, epandrial lamellae broadly fused basally ( Fig. 94 View FIGURES 93 – 100 ); left epandrial lamella slightly shorter than right, with robust, widened distally dorsoapical process with cleft apex ( Figs 94, 96 View FIGURES 93 – 100 ); right surstylus short, about half length of left and hook-shaped in lateral view ( Fig. 97 View FIGURES 93 – 100 ); left surstylus long and slender, curved dorsally ( Fig. 96 View FIGURES 93 – 100 ); articulated distal portion of phallus simple, rather short, about half length of basal portion, basal process spoon-shaped ( Fig. 95 View FIGURES 93 – 100 ). Female. Similar to male. Ovipositor ( Figs 98–100 View FIGURES 93 – 100 ): eighth segment somewhat narrow; tergite 8 shallowly cleft medially on distal margin; sternite 8 very narrow, seven times longer than wide.
