Genus Svercacheta Gorochov, 1993
Svercacheta Gorochov, 1993: 88
Type species: Modicogryllus nigrivertex (= Svercacheta siamensis ) Kaltenbach, 1979
Included species: Svercacheta siamensis ( Chopard, 1961) and Modicogryllus semiobscurus ( Chopard, 1961) .
Remarks. Similar to most of Modicogryllus species , fronto-clypeal suture of Svercacheta species is very weakly curved. Gorochov (1993) emphasized the distinct feature of the genus is the very large spermatophore sac ( Figs. 11A–C View FIGURE 11 ). We observed features of type species and Modicogryllus semiobscurus Chopard, 1961 and found that, except of spermatophore sac, they possess similar forms of epiphallus and ectoparamere. Thus, we transfer the latter species into this genus.
