Palimpsestis cuprina Moore, 1881: 331 View in CoL , pl. 37, fig. 3. Type-locality: India, Darjeeling. Lectotype ♂ (MNHU).
Distribution. China (Tibet), India, Nepal.
Remarks. Zhao (2004) included this species with material recorded from Sichuan and Yunnan. The specimens from Sichuan in fact belong to I. naumanni , and no specimens from Yunnan were found, so these distribution records are omitted here.
