Material examined: Type series: SMF, Cameroon; lectotype male, here designated, K. Viets 43199, “ Kamerun, Manoka b. Duala, Bach, 4.1.1912, Damköhler leg. 1301”; paralectotypes: one male “1302”, two females “1303, 1304”, same site and date.

General features: Idiosoma as wide as long (L/W ratio 0.96–1.05) ( Fig. 39J View FIGURE 39 A – L ); dorsal shield oval (L/W ratio 1.1), with medial depression ( Figs. 39K–L View FIGURE 39 A – L ); muscle scars with slightly pronounced thickenings, located anterior and posterior to the postocularia; dorsal shield blue in colour except periphery; gnathosomal bay of a modified Yshape, noticeably narrowing in posterior half; tips of Cx-I ending posterior to frontal margin; Cx-III and -IV with a few longitudinal striae. Palp: P-1 without a dorsal seta; P-2 with straight ventral and convexly bowed dorsal margin; P-3 maximum height proximally, ventral margin concave; P-4 equally narrowing from the base to tip. Legs: I-L with I-L-6 L/H ratio 2.4–2.8.
