Length. Male: 3.5–3.6mm; female: 3.7–3.9mm.
Greenish-dark brown, often with dark brown pattern, male may be nearly entirely black (Plate VI: A, B & E–G). Vertex with dark spot not fused anteriorly with darkening of face, or vertex with cruciate pattern or whole vertex blackened (Plate VI: H–J). Frontoclypeus often with transverse stripes (Plate VI: K). Forewing usually brachypterous, brachypterous specimens more or less rounded at apex, usually reaching abdominal tergites V–VIII (Plate VI: A, B & E–G).
Male genitalia. The darkly sclerotized part of pygofer side on posteroventral margin more than half its length, with small spines, dorsoapical margin with many spinules ( Fig. 7 View FIGURE 7 A); connective with arms close together distally ( Fig. 7 View FIGURE 7 E); aedeagus shaft gently curved dorsally ( Fig. 7 View FIGURE 7 D).
Female. Sternite VII well-produced in middle (Plate VI: D).
