Ahmadi (2002) recorded Pachylaelaps magnus Halbert, 1915 View in CoL from Iran, but we can not confirm this record. Mašán (2007) and Mašán & Halliday (2014) reported that P. magnus View in CoL is a junior synonym of P. ( Pachylaelaps) ensifer Oudemans, 1902 View in CoL , and it has been widely misidentified instead of P. ( Pachylaelaps) troglophilus Willmann, 1940 ( Mašán, 2007) View in CoL , so we have removed it from our list.
