Type locality. WC, Hottentots Holland Mts. (Caledon side), Steenbras Valley, at ca. 360 m asl, bank of the stream. Distribution. Type locality only, in the east proximity of Cape Peninsula.
Remarks. Paratype SAMC A20610 View Materials . Reynolds & Cook (1976) indicates BMNH 1938.7.1.1753–6 as type material, not confirmed here.
