Type locality. Java, Buitenzorg.
Distribution. Circumtropical, with high morphological variability due to parthenogenetic reproduction ( Csuzdi 2010). Described under numerous synonyms (complete record in Csuzdi: 1995, 1996, 2000, 2010). In RSA found only in KZN: Sunnyside at Celtis Rd. in Pietermaritzburg.
Remarks. Syntypes ZMH V-9281. In RSA recorded only once.
