Description:— Trierveiler-Pereira et al. (2011: 581)
Habitat and distribution:—Specimens were collected on sandy soil in fragments of secondary upland forest, a successional type of lowland ombrophilous dense forest. It is known from Tropical America ( Ponce de León 1968).
This is a first record for the state of Amazonas, Brazil.
