TD: holotype, female , NHMUK.
Distribution in India: Sikkim, West Bengal ( Hampson 1892); northern India ( Sergeev & Zolotuhin 2010), Andamans ( Chandra et al. 2018a); Assam ( Joshi et al. 2021a). Global records: Nepal, the Philippines, Southern and eastern China, northern Thailand, northern Vietnam, Myanmar ( Sergeev & Zolotuhin 2010); Sri Lanka ( Mandal & Maulik 1997).
Remark: Odonestis bheroba formosae ( Wileman, 1910) is from Taiwan and China.
