Measurements: (34 specimens measured) Average total length: 8.5mm, range: 7.3–9.7mm, average elytral length: 5.6mm, average elytral width: 2.6mm, average pronotal length: 2.2mm, average pronotal width: 1.9mm, average head width: 1.8mm.
Head: Red-brown, often very dark, cranium with strong pubescence and distinct punctation on frontal umbo and frons, lighter pubescence and punctation on vertex; posterior part of clypeus dark red-brown, margins darkened, with large punctation and a few long setae laterally, smooth centrally; antennae red-brown, lighter then head capsule, A9 to A11 forming a distinct club, antennae not reaching base of pronotum when laid back; gular sutures diverging apically, gular process narrow.
Thorax: Average pronotal length:width ratio 1.2:1; pronotum red-brown, darkened laterally, vested with yellowish setae, pronotal arch with distinct punctation, interstices equal to diameters of punctures, punctation of pronotum proper coarser, interstices smaller than diameter of punctures; prosternum dark red-brown to black, smooth; mesosternum dark red-brown to black, margins darkened, vested with yellowish setae, circularly elevated centrally; metasternum black, vested with fine setae, punctation sparse; anterior metasternal process with two strongly sclerotized, ventrally projecting, edges; scutellum oval, red-brown to yellowish.
Elytra: Average length:width ratio 1.2:1; basally black till humeral region, laterally black until humeral angle ends, humeral angle yellow, a black U-shaped macula behind first quarter of each elytron, red-brown fascia in third quarter, fascia lateral black, extending from lateral to sutural margins, rectangular subcutaneous structures visible through yellow areas, densely vested with short decumbent and longer erect setae, punctation relatively large, striae 1 obsolete behind about one quarter of elytral length, striae 2 and 3 after one third, remaining striae present on entire surface, diameter of punctures larger than interstices between and within striae; punctation often rasp-like in basal third, carinated in apical half along striae, especially distinct between 3rd and 4th, 4th and 5th and 6th and 8th striae.
Legs: Yellow, tarsi darker, tarsal pulvilli pale; metatibiae slightly bent distally, anterior and posterior face of each tibia carinate, carination red-brown, distinct, especially on metatibia.
Abdomen: Ventrites dark red-brown, punctation sparse; anterior margin of male pygidium apically with V-shaped slight emargination, with a dark brown spot centrally; male ventrite 6 with broad V-shaped emargination. Male genitalia (Fig. 39): phallus asymmetric and strongly sclerotized at the tip, with a horizontal groove, phallic struts kneed in basal fifth of phallus; spicular fork dividing into two branches after one fifth of length.
Distribution: Myanmar, Thailand.
