Treatment

This rarely encountered, but apparently widespread eucnemid species has been recorded from Florida, Louisiana, Ohio, and Texas ( Otto and Karns 2017). New records have been confirmed for three states/ Commonwealths : Massachusetts, New York, and Rhode Island. Six specimens were taken from cross-vane panel traps placed in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Two specimens were taken from Lindgren funnel traps placed in Rhode Island and New York.
