Distribution. Mexico, Honduras, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Colombia, Guiana, French Guiana, Ecuador, Brazil, Bolivia, Paraguay, Argentina, Uruguay, Peru, Aruba, Curação, Dominica, St. Vincent, and introduced in Spain ( Monné 2024c; Tavakilian & Chevillotte 2024). In Peru, it is recorded from Cusco, Madre de Dios ( Monné & Chaboo 2015; Monné 2024c; Tavakilian & Chevillotte 2024). New regional record: Junin (Satipo).
