Geographic distribution. Trinidad & Tobago ( Nieser 1969b), Guyana ( Nieser 1975), Suriname, French Guiana ( Montandon 1907), Brazil ( White 1879b), Peru ( Montandon 1907).

Distribution in Peru. Loreto? ( Montandon 1907; see notes below).

Notes. Material identified as R. annulipes Stål, 1854 by White (1879b) actually refers to this species ( Nieser 1975). Montandon’s (1907) citation of “Amazone supérieur” probably corresponds to the region of Pebas, Loreto, Peru, as known for other specimens deposited in the Naturhistoriska riksmuseet ( Stockholm, Sweden) bearing this label ( Moreira et al. 2011).
