Geographic distribution. Brazil ( Montandon 1899a), Peru ( De Carlo 1930), Paraguay ( Lauck 1964), Argentina ( Berg 1879) ; Uruguay ( Ruffinelli & Pirán 1959).
Distribution in Peru. Junín ( Lauck 1964), unknown department ( De Carlo 1930).
Notes. Records from Mexico ( De Carlo 1930) are probably erroneous ( Ribeiro 2007). The record from Chile ( De Carlo 1930) is erroneous ( Damgaard & Moreira 2021). Records from Colombia ( Molano & Morales 2006; Cobos-Vallejo 2007; Morales & Molano 2008; Morales et al. 2008) need verification.
