( Figs 3 View FIGURE 3 I, 8J, 9A, 9B, 11L, 12A, 16C, 16D, 34)
Diagnosis. This species differs from the other ornata group species by having the mesonotum and pleura patterns ( Figs 8 View FIGURE 8 J, 9A, B), but similar to L. villosa sp. nov. (see lower that species).
Description. Ocellar triangle dark brown, with 2–5 setae above ocellar setae. Frons brownish yellow to yellowish brown. Pedicel brownish yellow; first flagellomere yellow. Clypeus brownish yellow. Palpus brownish yellow. Mesonotum brownish yellow, with 4 brown longitudinal stripes submedially and sublaterally ( Figs 8 View FIGURE 8 J, 9A). Postpronotal lobe yellow ( Fig. 9 View FIGURE 9 B). Acrostichal setulae in 9–11 irregular rows ( Figs 8 View FIGURE 8 J, 9A). Scutellum brownish yellow to dark brown, pale at tip ( Figs 8 View FIGURE 8 J, 9A). Pleura yellowish, with a dark brown, longitudinal stripe above ( Fig. 9 View FIGURE 9 B). Katepisternum yellow, with brown patches above; mesopleuron mostly dark brown ( Fig. 9 View FIGURE 9 B). Wing ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 I): Costal vein between R2+3 and R4+5 distally with 4–6 peg-like spinules on ventral surface. Mid and hindlegs brown on knees. Abdominal tergites dark brown, with yellow patches ( Figs 11 View FIGURE 11 L, 12A), but medially yellowish to brown on 2nd and 3rd tergites. Male terminalia: Epandrium nearly entirely pubescent, with 2 setae near posterior margin per side ( Fig. 34 View FIGURE 34 A). Paramere nearly triangular, with 5 sensilla subapically ( Fig. 34 View FIGURE 34 C). Aedeagus thick, with pubescence apically ( Fig. 34 View FIGURE 34 D).
