A ♁ specimen with labels: “Madagasc, Sikora” [printed on pink paper]; “ Odontolakis virescens Redtb. ” [handwritten on pink paper] is illustrated as a possible syntype on OSF by P. Naskrecki. There are eight specimens (5 ♁, 3 ♀) with these labels in the collection, but MHNG is not mentioned as a depository in the original description and it is unlikely that these specimens are part of the type series.
