Distribution. MEXICO (8): México, No Data.

Remarks. The specimen with the unique NHMUK number “014589700” is apparently a paratype of Chrysina aenigmatica ( Morón, 1990) but has been reidentified by Hawks as Chrysina modesta ( Sturm, 1843) . Moore et al. (2017) list the paratype as present in NHMUK, but not its reidentification. The type material of Chrysina modesta ( Sturm, 1843) was not reported by Moore et al. (2017).
