N o t e: The genus Notapictinus USINGER & MATSUDA 1959 contains to date 40 species (KORMILEV & FROESCHNER 1987), all of them from Central- and South America. Most of them were described on single specimens with short descriptions and often lacking figures. Without rich comparative material it is impossible – even with the key for 29 species given by KORMILEV (1967) – to identify our specimens.
