Within the BCP, Megachile spinotulata has been previously recorded in the Baja California Mountains, Gulf Coast, La Giganta Ranges, Magdalena Plains, and Tropical Dry Forest with preserved specimen records vouchered at BBSL and SDNHM ( GBIF 2023 View Materials ). We reviewed one male collected in the Central Desert in October 1997. The CARCIB team collected one male in the Central Desert in May 2017. Additionally, the BBPT collected this species in the Baja California Mountains in La Rumorosa in September 2021 (1 ♂), and in the Coastal Sage Matorral in May 2022 (1 ♀). Voucher specimens are in MABC. See fig. 221 .
