[ Holotype: BBSL; ♀ Rancho El Cajón, 40 km E Alamos, 420 m elev., Sonora, Mexico; October 1–11, 2006] Lasioglossum magnitegula primarily inhabits the Mexican Pacific Coast , ranging from Oaxaca to Sonora. Gardner & Gibbs (2023) reported one male collected in the Sarcocaulescent Shrubland near Todos Santos in September 2016, BCS. See fig. 177 .
