Atoposmia (Atoposmia) triodonta (Cockerell, 1935) View in CoL

[ Holotype: CASC; ♂ Mt. Diablo , about 1,158 mts elev., California, USA; June 14, 1933]

Atoposmia View in CoL specializes on pollen from Penstemon Schmidel ( Fowler 2020) View in CoL . This species was previously reported by Ayala et al. (1996) in BC. The BBPT collected it in the Baja California Mountains in Sierra Juarez and Sierra San Pedro Mártir (22 ♀, 7 ♂) and Chaparral (1 ♂) in May 2022. Voucher specimens are in MABC, and ECOAB. See fig. 245.
