[ Lectotype: ANSP; ♀ Nevada; 1878]

Ashmeadiella cubiceps View in CoL specializes on pollen from a broad range of plants in the family Asteraceae ( Fowler 2020) View in CoL . This species was first reported in BC by Ayala et al. (1996). Additionally, during this study, the BBPT collected one female in the Vízcaino Desert, BCS in March 2021, which is a new record for that state (MABC). See fig. 239.
