Elachista amamii Parenti, 1983: 11 View in CoL . Type locality: Japan, Ryukyu, Amami Oshima, Akaogi ( Parenti 1983: 11). Holotype ♂, in ELKU.

Elachista amamaii ; misspelling ( Sugisima 2005a: 1).

Subgenus: Elachista ; praelineata species group.

Distribution: Palearctic. Japan.

Larval host plant(s): Digitaria timorensis (Kunth) Balansa , D. adscendens (H. B. K.) Henr., Thuerea involuta (Forst.) R.Br. (all Poaceae ) ( Parenti 1983; Sugisima 2005a).
