Record associated with mangroves: Niewport, Netherland Antilles, Curaçao, among epiphytal algae from red mangrove Rhizophora mangle roots ( Pešić et al. 2008).
Records from other habitats: Pešić et al. (2015) recorded this species in algae and rubble from Taboguilla Island, Panama (Pacific coast of Panama).
Distribution: Caribbean Sea, Panama.
