Distribution. Japan (Shikoku Island: Kôchi Prefecture).

Remarks. The species was originally described in Pterygostegia from caves of Kôchi Prefecture, Shikoku Island, Japan ( Murakami & Kawasawa 1975), later transferred to the genus Diplomaragna ( Shear 1990) , and then it was returned to Pterygostegia ( Mikhaljova 2000) . This cave inhabitant is only known from its terra typica.
