Nymph. General color brown in dorsal view and pale in ventral view ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 ). Head brown, with light areas between clypeus and frons and posterior to coronal suture ( Fig. 2 View FIGURES 2 – 10 ). M-line present, but not distinct. Ocelli black. Eyes black. Antennae uniformly yellow. Glossa, paraglossae and labial palps whitish-yellow ( Fig. 3 View FIGURES 2 – 10 ). Mandibles yellow with outer margin dark-brown; teeth sharp and dark-brown; row of bristles along margin of internal face and another parallel row on ventral surface ( Figs. 4–5 View FIGURES 2 – 10 ). Maxillae yellow, bidentate, teeth sharp and reddish-brown, a row of four to seven setae below second tooth ( Fig. 6 View FIGURES 2 – 10 ). Pronotum oval ( Fig. 2 View FIGURES 2 – 10 ); dark-brown along margin and paler towards center where pale rugosities form a distinctive color pattern. Mesonotum, metanotum, and abdomen with many bristles. Legs with row of long, fine setae dorsally on femur and tibia ( Figs. 7–8 View FIGURES 2 – 10 ); stout spines sparsely scattered on femur and distributed in longitudinal rows along tibiae. Abdominal terga reddish-brown; sterna pale, posterior margin with unbroken line of setae, line broken in female nymphs ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 2 – 10 ). Cerci reddish-yellow at base, paler apically; each segment with stout spines whirled about posterior margin ( Fig. 10 View FIGURES 2 – 10 ).

Measurements. Nymph (n=134): head width, 0.85–3.68 (mean= 2.14 mm); head length, 0.7–2.76 (mean= 1.71 mm); pronotum width, 1.05–3.93 (mean= 2.33 mm); pronotum length, 0.52–2.05 (mean= 1.29 mm); abdomen length, 1.45–7.53 (mean= 3.13 mm); total length, 4.16–18.1 (mean= 8.39 mm). These values represent a range of development, the highest values being of pre-emergent nymphs.

Remarks. Anacroneuria debilis nymphs are similar to A. baumanni ( Mexico) and A. segnini ( Venezuela) based on the pattern design of the head and pronotum. However, A. debilis differ from both species by the presence of a row of fine, long bristles along the tibia and by rows of stout spines on the basal third of the cercus.

Distribution. Argentina: Missiones, Entre Rios; Brasil: Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, Paraná, Rio de Janeiro, Espírito Santo; Paraguai: Paraguaí.
