Notogamasellus Loots & Ryke View in CoL (1 described species)
Movable and fixed cheliceral digits with three and four teeth, respectively. Epistome with an anteromedian extension of about uniform width along its entire length. Seta h 3 about in longitudinal line with h 1 and slightly posterior and mediad to h 2. Idiosoma elongate, 260–290 µm long and 140–160 µm wide at widest level. Podonotal and opisthonotal shields separated. Dorsal idiosomal setae pilose. Podonotal region of dorsum with 32 pairs of setae and a medial unpaired seta (posterior to j 3), of which 30 pairs and an unpaired seta on podonotal shield and two pairs on soft integument along lateral margins of podonotal shield. Opisthonotal region with 19 pairs of setae, of which 15 pairs on opisthonotal shield and four pairs on soft integument along lateral margins of opisthonotal shield. Seta j 1 not on prominent protuberance, as long as r 3 and Z 5. Opisthonotal and ventrianal shields separated. With a pair of presternal platelets. Sternal shield not fused to endopodal shield near coxa IV; setae st 1– st 4 in longitudinal line. Opisthogaster without platelets between genital and ventrianal shields; with three pairs of setae and a medial unpaired seta (posterior to Jv 3) on ventrianal shield and with six pairs on soft integument around ventrianal shield; post-anal seta as long as para-anal seta. Peritreme with straight or smoothly curved margins, extending anteriorly to level of middle region of coxa II. Peritrematal shield fused posteriorly to exopodal shield near coxa IV, with connection behind stigma wider or narrower than peritreme. Without exopodal shields near coxae II–III–III. With a pair of rounded metapodal platelets. Leg I without pretarsus; legs II-IV with pretarsi. Genua I, III and IV and tibia IV with 13, 10, 10 and 10 setae, respectively.
