Springthorpe (WA-373); 10+ specimens, AM P.79352, inshore limestone reef, Neds Camp, Cape Range National Park (21 ◦ 59 ′ S, 113 ◦ 55 ′ E), 1.5 m, green algae Caulerpa sp. and basal rubble, 2 January 1984, coll. J.K. Lowry (WA-374) ; 3 specimens, AM P.79326, Mangrove Bay, Cape Range National Park (21 ◦ 58 ′ S, 113 ◦ 56 ′ 30 ′′ E), tidal sand / mud flats, green alga on sand, rock, 3 January 1984, coll. H.E. Stoddart (WA-386) .
Remarks
These records represent a range extension for the species which includes the coastline of Western Australia from the temperate to tropical waters.

Australia. Western Australia: north and south coast (current study; Barnard 1974). Indian Ocean. Mauritius ( Appadoo and Steele 1998).
