Material examined. Two specimens. MB28-004911, NKA, 13 Jun. 2014, 6m, 92mm; MB28-0 0 5043, NFA, 9m, 23 Aug. 2016, 9m, 150mm.

Habitats. Tropical coral reefs and areas with coral bommies and seagrass, often crawling on sand.

Occurrences. Nacala and Nuarro.

Geographic distribution. Western Indian Ocean. Tanzania ( Alfred 2011 as Dendrodoris sp.), Seychelles ( Debelius & Kuiter 2007 as Dendrodoris tuberculosa ( Quoy & Gaimard, 1832) and Mozambique.

Remarks. Both specimens were found crawling on the sand. This species bears lateral teeth with an elevated base giving a convex appearance ( Fig.15), which is typical of the genus ( Dayrat 2010).
