Habitats. Subtropical rocky reefs.

Occurrences. Zavora.

Geographic distribution. Indo-west, central Pacific. Hawaii, Japan (Gosliner et al. 2008), Australia ( Rudman & Avern 1898), Singapore (Gosliner et al. 2008), South Africa ( Gosliner 1987) and Mozambique.
